The Daraja Children’s Choir of Africa performed songs of worship, dance and shared personal stories for a crowd gathered Wednesday night at Harvest Christian Church, Clarkesville. Pictured above is Peluce Birungi from Kaihura, Uganda. The choir’s 18 children have been in Habersham County for about two weeks training for their U.S. tour. Affiliated with 410 Bridge, the choir will travel to 15 states for six months attending various churches and community events. Church members can help host the children when they are in town and share cultures. Chorus members, above, Aaron, Elizabeth, Esther, Fredrick, Geofrey, Imaculate, Joshua, Joy, Nathan, Noble, Peluce, Ritah, Rose, Rosemary, Silvia, Stephen, Teddy and Trinah were directed by Steven Kaweesa.
